Fabio Esposito is an entrepreneurial executive with more than 25 years of global experience transforming and scaling deep-tech businesses. Throughout his career, he has led the commercialization of disruptive technologies across Artificial Intelligence, Advanced Robotics, Computer Vision, Additive Manufacturing, and AR/VR platforms.
He is currently Venture Partner at Innovation Industries, a deep-tech investment fund focused on industrial, medical, and agri-food technologies addressing critical global challenges.
Previously, Fabio served as CEO of Leia Inc., a Silicon Valley unicorn valued at over $1 billion. He transformed the business into an AI-powered spatial technology platform, strengthened financial performance, accelerated commercialization, and increased valuation by 1.5x.
Before joining Leia, Fabio was CEO of Luxexcel, a pioneer in 3D-printed optics for AR/VR applications. Under his leadership, the company achieved a 20x increase in valuation, leading to one of the most significant deep-tech acquisitions in Benelux. Following the acquisition by Meta, Fabio joined Reality Labs, where he led Operations and Integration.
Earlier, Fabio served as CEO of Solidscape, the leader in 3D printers, materials, and software for manufacturing high-precision metal parts and one of the most consistently profitable companies in the 3D printing industry. During his 12-year tenure, the company delivered approximately 25% CAGR while maintaining EBITDA margins above 30%. He played a key role in Solidscape’s acquisition by Stratasys in 2011, the subsequent divestiture to Prodways Group in 2018, and the landmark $3B merger between Stratasys and Objet that created a category-defining global leader in Additive Manufacturing.
Earlier in his career, Fabio was Vice President of Parsytec Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of ISRA Vision, a pioneer in industrial computer vision and AI-based machine vision systems. He led the company’s expansion across the Americas after previously building operations in Italy and Southern Europe. He began his career as a management consultant with Consorzio CONICA in Italy, advising small and medium-sized enterprises on technology strategy and industrial innovation.
He holds BS and MS degrees in Electronic Engineering from the University of Naples Federico II and completed Executive Education at Harvard Business School. Fluent in English and Italian, he resides in both the United States and the Netherlands.
